Fun Facts being used to market The Campus at Horton to tech companies: 

  • San Diego has more STEM graduates than Berkley and Stanford – 4000 annually

  • Horton Plaza is 8 mins from SAN Airport 

  • The Campus at Horton will entail seven Full City Blocks and include Restaurant, Retail, Services and Public Access 

Features and Design Principles 

The Campus at Horton will be a vertical vs horizonal facility, which is the preferred configuration for hi-tech companies.  It will feature an additional five stories added on to Nordstrom Building as the anchor.  Other highlights being planned include:

  • Retail on lower floors, business on upper floors

  • Sustainable and green construction

  • Food Hall with Patio Dining

  • Roof Garden  

  • Permanent Stage for Events and Community Gathering

  • Dog Run

  • Opened up design for the Central Palazzo and orient design towards E Street 

  • Trolley service to all three San Diego campuses
