About Me
I was born and raised in Southern California, and love living in San Diego. I’ve spent my career in the mortgage and banking industry, as a mortgage advisor and marketing leader. In 2019 my husband Danny Drysdale (also a FOD Member) and I opened the first California branch of Intercap Lending, a well-regarded organization based in Utah. We specialize in home loans and are excited to be growing our organization and offering excellent products and services to my home market.
My Current Gig
I’m currently Branch Operations Manager and Mortgage Advisor for our firm, responsible for opening our new office in Mission Valley, hiring and on-boarding loan officers and ensuring our team is ready to meet the needs of all home buyers in San Diego and the surrounding areas.
My FOD Involvement
I joined FOD in 2019 and was thrilled to be named Member of the Quarter in Q3 2019. I’m starting my first term as Board Member, managing our social media presence. Being a 100% volunteer organization means a lot to me – that our members and Board are passionate about our mission.
I joined FOD for personal and professional reasons - the speakers are inspiring and help me help my clients by being a San Diego expert. I want to give back to the city I love, so supporting SDCC students with scholarship funds and helping them achieve their educational goals ultimately strengthens our community. I really like that we do not stipulate how the students use the scholarship funds, since everyone has unique needs.
Why I recommend FOD
FOD is a great way to add perspective and bring inspiration into your life. It’s so easy to get caught up in day-to-day activities – making time for FOD monthly luncheons / events, scholarship and community service programs give me balance and new ways to connect.
What I enjoy about SD
1. Paddleboarding
2. Padres - my family has had season tickets since Petco Park opened!!
3. Puppies – Duke and Pearl, our dachshunds
