Meet Lori Robinson: Member of the Quarter (Q2 2019)

Eve Hudgins, a co-founder of FOD, introduced me to the organization many years ago, and I have been a member ever since.  It has been a wonderful experience where I have met some really great friends and business associates.

My favorite part of being a FOD member is interviewing and selecting SDCC students to receive scholarships for their education.  I love hearing the success stories of those students, and it really feels good to be able to impact someone's life.

As for my career, I have been implementing financial planning strategies for clients for more than 25 years.  I’m currently First Vice President - Wealth Management, USA and a senior partner of the Del Vecchio Group at UBS where I lead a wealth management team that oversees approximately $350 million in assets.  We strive to listen to each client's distinctive set of needs, so we can create a comprehensive wealth management plan that matches their personal objectives.   

I’m passionate about giving back to our community and am also a member of the Estates and Trust Executive Committee at Rady Children’s Hospital. 

I recommend downtown professionals and residents consider joining and/or supporting FOD because the organization gives back to the community – students and seniors - but also to meet wonderful and interesting people at the monthly luncheons, while also learning about what is going on in San Diego and how it impacts its citizens and the city.

My favorite things to do in San Diego are to bike, hike and walk on our beautiful beaches, enjoy our wonderful weather and interesting restaurants and cafes.
